Rawsters - Moda, Istanbul

Where form, function & sustainability converge.

Where material innovation meets organic flow, Rawsters Moda redefines how spaces can be both responsible and visually captivating. Inspired by Shigeru Ban’s cardboard tube architecture, this project introduces a pioneering use of recyclable materials in an unexpected commercial setting.

At Rawsters Moda, sustainability is not just an aesthetic choice—it’s an integral part of the experience. Drawing inspiration from Shigeru Ban’s pioneering work with cardboard tubes, this space challenges conventional materiality, proving that lightweight, recyclable materials can coexist with durability and function.

Inside, the fluted cardboard tube walls and terrazzo countertops form a rhythmic interplay of texture and structure, while the curved spatial flow fosters warmth and effortless movement. Outside, a lush garden terrace, framed by rust-hued planters and ambient lighting, extends the experience into nature.

Rawsters Moda is an exploration of design, sustainability, and innovation, demonstrating how materials can be reimagined to shape the future of commercial spaces.
