We design interiors as experiences, shaping space through concept, flow, and narrative.

Our Approach

Mikk Studio is a London-based, women-led interior design practice working across hospitality, retail and residential environments internationally. The studio approaches interiors as spatial experiences, exploring how architecture, materiality and atmosphere shape the way people move, gather and interact within a space.

Each project begins with understanding context, identity and behaviour. From this foundation we develop concept-driven interiors that translate narrative into spatial experience, working collaboratively with a network of designers, consultants and makers.

Our Process

  • 01 - Briefing

    We begin by understanding you, your brand and the ambitions behind the project. Through conversation and careful questioning we define the brief, identifying both the practical requirements and the overall vision for the space.

  • 02 - Concept

    From the brief we develop a clear design concept that captures the essence of the project. This concept translates your vision into a spatial narrative and establishes a shared direction for the design team.

    It becomes the framework that guides every design decision, ensuring the final space feels coherent and considered.

  • 03 - Shaping the experience

    The concept is developed into a complete spatial experience. We refine layouts, develop detailed design elements and build a visual narrative that communicates how the space will look, feel and function.

    Alongside the creative development, we coordinate the different design layers of the project and prepare the technical documentation required to bring the design to life.

  • 04 - Realisation

    During construction we work closely with contractors, fabricators and consultants to ensure the design intent is carried through every stage of the build.

    Through ongoing coordination and site involvement, we safeguard the integrity of the concept as it becomes reality.

  • 05 - Handover

    The most rewarding moment is seeing the space come to life. Once the project is complete, the environment begins its true purpose: to be experienced, inhabited and enjoyed.

    Furniture Selection + Procurement
    We curate, source and procure furniture, lighting and objects on behalf of our clients. Purchasing, delivery and installation are coordinated to ensure a seamless and fully resolved outcome.
